See Canberra as you’ve never seen it before!

Avant Garden will be an afternoon gala fashion show featuring exclusive collections from Canberra’s hottest emerging and established designers. The entertainment will be overflowing, with local labels showcased on the runway, live music and dance performances, VIP interviews, live installations and photographic exhibits from two of Canberra’s most exciting photographers.

Doors will open at 1:15PM for a 2PM show, on Sunday 25^th November 2012 at Hotel Realm, Barton ACT. The decadent afterparty will take place from 3:30 PM at Ostani Bar & Restaurant, Ground Floor Hotel Realm, and will feature an auction from a selection of pieces straight off the festival catwalk.

The afternoon’s entertainment will include:

• A wide range of exclusive fashion by local designers supported by
• The region’s most notable and upcoming Models, Make-Up Artists and Hairstylists
• Photographic exhibitions from two of Canberra’s most talented and inspirational photographers
• A surprise local DJ who will be spinning killer tracks and setting the tone for this magical event
• Unique millinery designers by some of the best local milliners, specifically created for this gala event
• A live performance by Canberra’s favourite indie band ‘The General Specific’
• A hypnotic and energetic dance performance
• VIP Interviews with key industry insiders
• Interactive installations with models showcasing various local designers up-close
• An auction of a selection from the designs seen on the runway at the festival

 AVANT GODDESS RAFFLE

WIN the fashion photoshoot of your dreams, starring YOU, valued at over $1000!

The winner of the Avant Garden ‘Avant Goddess’ raffle will receive a fashion photoshoot, complete with professional photography by renowned Fashion Photographer, Eric Piris of Red Photography. You will be professionally styled from a collection of designer pieces, by the extremely experienced Stylist, Hannah St James. Professional Hair Styling and Makeup will also be provided by two of Canberra’s most inspirational and successful local creatives. You will receive a CD of 10 professionally and tastefully retouched images for you to cherish.

The photoshoot will take place at a time to be negotiated between the winner and Avant Garden – The Canberra Fashion Festival, 28^th February 2013 (approximately three months after Avant Garden). The winner will be drawn and announced at the main event Sunday 25th November.
